Mandy Rasmussen LLB
ASSOCIATE

Email: mandyr@edmondsjudd.co.nz

Secretary:
Karen Gibson email: kareng@edmondsjudd.co.nz

Mandy was born in Whangarei and educated there before studying law at Auckland University.  After graduating, she worked in Auckland for almost three years before leaving to travel to the United Kingdom.

There, after a few months of the usual Kiwi overseas experience of pubs and waitressing, Mandy took up an opportunity to work as a locum in different law practices.  Soon after starting, she had a one-week assignment working for a sole practitioner in Sussex, which turned out to last almost nine years. During that time, Mandy worked mainly in the property law field, but also did a small amount of litigation.

Having met and married a fellow New Zealander while she was living in England, Mandy and her husband Steve returned to New Zealand in 1992. She worked for a year in a practice in Tauranga before family commitments led to a break of four years. She started working at Edmonds Judd in 1997 and has been promoted to be an Associate as from 1 November 2007. Mandy and Steve have two sons. Her interests include following her sons' and husband’s sports (mainly soccer, rowing and motor-sport), gardening and reading.
