About Me
Jamie has been working in the litigation team at Edmonds Judd since June 2024 after graduating from the University of Waikato. Prior to this, Jamie held roles at Community Law Waikato and Hamilton Police Prosecutions before settling into a career in civil litigation, employment law, and family law.
Jamie has represented clients in the Family Court, in the District Court, and in MBIE mediations and workplace investigation meetings. Although he enjoys advocating in the courtroom, he appreciates that most clients prefer to avoid formal litigation proceedings where possible. He understands that a dispute might have a technically correct legal solution, as well as a more practical option that better serves commercial objectives, and he will work with you to identify the approach that best meets your needs.
Outside of the office, Jamie loves spending time with his family, working through their collection of non-fiction books, and waking up in the early hours of the morning to watch his beloved Everton Football Club.
