Working primarily from our Te Awamutu, Cambridge, or Ōtorohanga office, with flexible and hybrid working options available, you’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative litigation team handling a broad range of civil disputes. This is a varied civil litigation role offering real client contact, advocacy opportunities, and the chance to take ownership of your own files while mentoring junior lawyers. You’ll work across a diverse range of disputes, including commercial, property, rural, trusts, estates, relationship property, employment, construction, tort, and contractual matters, with the opportunity to develop specialist areas of interest.
We’re looking for someone with at least four years’ PQE in civil litigation, confidence managing files from start to finish, strong advocacy and client relationship skills, and a commercial, pragmatic approach to resolving disputes. You’ll enjoy mentoring others, embracing technology, and working collaboratively within a high-performing team.
