About Me

Fiona joined the Edmonds Judd team in 2019, making her return to law after having taken time out to homeschool her children and work on their family dairy farm. She previously worked for Brent Kelly Law Office and Harkness Henry, Hamilton. Fiona works alongside Simon Brdanovic and Rachael Beattie.

As a seasoned rural solicitor with extensive knowledge across various areas of law, Fiona brings a wealth of experience and a practical approach to legal matters. She offers a comprehensive range of services, including contract drafting, interpretation, and amendments tailored to meet the needs of clients, property transactions, leases, rest home occupation units, subdivisions, wills and enduring powers of attorney.

Fiona’s expertise is particularly valuable in the agricultural sector as she and her husband have farmed in Cambridge for over 30 years. This hands-on experience provides her with a deep understanding of the practical aspects of contract law and rural issues. Fiona’s commitment to staying current is reflected in her recent completion of a Master’s in law from Auckland University.

In addition to her legal practice, Fiona am actively involved in various community organisations and has served on numerous committees. Fiona is dedicated to making legal assistance accessible and cost-effective, encouraging early consultation to prevent disputes and ensure the best outcomes for clients.
